Bucket List: San Francisco Edition
Shortly before my friend Samantha graduated from university (she was a year ahead of me - in age and in brains) she began crafting a "San Francisco Bucket List" and we tried to check off as many of the activities as possible. To this day we still talk about our nightmare "date" on Stow Lake: between my fear of birds causing me to nearly jumping out of our paddle boat and our shocking discovery that paddle boats were actually a ton of work, it was certainly memorable. Of course, when you are a full-time student who is working multiple part-time jobs, a bucket list is challenging to complete. In the end we just did not have enough time.
With my upcoming move, I too have been thinking about making a "Bucket List". After living here for 11 years, I have done a LOT. Enough to fill several guidebooks. So this list will be a combination of things I have never done - and things I want to do one more time before leaving.
This is a work in progress, so be sure to comment where you think I should go or if you want to join in any of the activities! Check back in the future - I will try and do these things and write about them.

Restaurants
- The Tonga Room - If you know me, you know this my possibly my favorite place in the whole world. I need at least one more big night there
- Leo's Oyster Bar UPDATE: COMPLETED OCTOBER 9, 2017 Had an indulgent evening filled with martinis and (of course) oysters. While we had to sit in the back room (the luxe front room only seemed to have seats for parties of 2-4. We were a party of 5) the food did not disappoint. The foie gras and the deviled egg with the fried oyster were two of the highlights. The lobster roll was wonderfully executed - my east coast mother would of been very proud. Pro Tip: Save room for desert!
- Petit Crenn UPDATE: COMPLETED OCTOBER 17, 2017 This dinner literally made me cry - not because I was broke after spending $244 on my meal alone, but because it was such a joyous meal. Culinary perfection. Dinner does have to be that expensive - we just said yes to EVERY extra they offered (Champagne, extra courses, etc.) - my tastebuds wanted to leave nothing behind. #noregrets
